Hafadas aka Scrotum piercing

Hafadas are scrotal piercings specifically placed on the upper-sides of the scrotum. Piercing lore tells us that they are of middle-eastern coming-of-age origin. This is placed high on the scrotum to the left or the right of the penis base and is primarily for decoration. A minimum 14 gauge captive bead ring or barbell is required. The ring is suggested for better healing.

In selecting jewelry, a ring is generally the most suitable choice, but barbells (curved and circular) can be made to work as well. We recommend a minimum of 10g, with at least a 5/8" diameter, but 8g is by no means unacceptable. Body jewelry: Captive bead rings, bead rings, circular barbells in 14-10 gauge, 9/16" - 5/8" - 11/16" in diameter.

Healing Time: 6 - 8 weeks.
